A CENTURY OF LOVE: 1905-2004, MY PARENTS

From rural Hungary before the First World War, through the persecutions of the Nazi period and the deprivations under Communism, after escaping to the USA, the active old age of a pair of “survivors”. This short memoir was inspired by the old photos I found when clearing out my mother’s apartment after her death, which are linked to the text of the various chapters. A family tree is provided to make identifying the names easier and a Bibliography links to some of the sites used in my research. Marian Farago
